Free COVID-19 Testing In Wilmington This Week

More free COVID-19 testing sites will be taking place this week in Wilmington, and the city encourages any Delawarean, whether they are exhibiting symptoms or not, to get tested. The Mayor is asking residents to avoid large crowds, wear a mask, and wash and sanitize their hands frequently. The free events this week will use saliva-based testing. 

Wednesday, August 12

  • Kosciuszko Park, 601 South Franklin Street, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. (Walk-Up Only) Register in advance here

 Thursday, August 13:

  • Eastside Charter School, located at 3000 North Claymont Street, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Walk-Up Only) Register in advance here
  • Kingswood Community Center, located at  2300 Bowers Street, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. By appointment only, call 302-428-6586.

Friday, August 14:

  • Latin American Community Center, located at 301 N Harrison Street, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. By appointment only, call 302-320-6439.

Updates regarding cancellations due to inclement weather will be shared on New Castle County’s Facebook Page.
