ChristianaCare has recently announced two new partnerships, Cedar and GoHealth Urgent Care.

Cedar

The partnership with Cedar is promised to transform the billing and patient financial experience. Cedar’s engagement and payment platform enables customized outreach, messaging and bill resolution to deliver a personalized experience optimized for each patient.

“We’re committed to delivering optimal health and an exceptional experience to everyone we serve,” said ChristianaCare Chief Financial Officer Rob McMurray, MBA, CPA. “This collaboration represents a tremendous leap forward in providing a convenient, friendly, easy-to-navigate billing and financial experience for all of our patients.”

Patients will benefit from the platform as they will be introduced to optimal payment plans as well as seamlessly given financial assistance.

GoHealth Urgent Care

In collaboration with GoHealth Urgent Care, Christiana plans to develop the largest urgent care network in Delaware. The partnership combines ChristianaCare’s long-standing reputation for high-quality, integrated ambulatory health services and GoHealth’s industry-leading patient satisfaction ratings, consumer-focused technology and award-winning urgent care center design.

“This partnership will advance our ability to make a positive impact on the health of every person in every community we serve by increasing access to high-quality, affordable urgent care services,” said Janice E. Nevin, M.D., MPH, ChristianaCare’s president and CEO. “Partnering with GoHealth Urgent Care and leveraging its unique model, expertise and consumer focus enables us to offer greater convenience and provide the right care, at the right place and right time in the most cost-appropriate setting.”

The partnership will work to upgrade ChristianaCare’s existing medical centers in the region with GoHealth’s operating models. There are also plans to build several additional urgent care centers throughout Delaware over the next several years.

The new centers plan to be accessible, convenient and affordable, and aim to provide a better option to the costly and time-consuming alternatives.
