Wilmington Greek Festival Offering To-Go Services

While many Wilmington summer traditions have had to be canceled or postponed out of safety concerns, The Greek Festival has adapted to bring its food and drink to the citizens of Wilmington to-go style!

Customers can get to-go foods and wine from Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, (located at 808 N. Broom St.) from 3-9 pm this weekend, June 18-21, and next weekend June 25-28.   

Customers will be able to place online orders and then drive through the church parking lot on the Ninth Street side for no-contact pickups. Walk-ups will also be accommodated. Cash, credit cards, and no-touch payment will be accepted for payment. 

Definite offerings for the first weekend’s menu will include dishes such as moussaka, pastitsio, spanakopita, tyropita, and dolmades. The full menu of foods will be posted on the festival’s website and on the Wilmington Greek Festival Facebook page.

Plans also are in the works to move the actual festival, which will bring back dine-in services, outdoor seating, and dancing, to Sept. 6 through Sept 11, later this year.
