Previously we shared that the Jaycees Christmas Parade that will be kicking off November 30th at 11:00 am. If you are planning to attend we want you to know that the fun continues afterwards!
Local vendors will set up outdoors with great handmade gifts for the holidays. The Hotsy Totsy Gals will perform holiday favorites, while the Wilmington Fire Department will bring a truck for kids to touch, and Santa will make an appearance. The Wilmington Department of Police are taking part as well with a Delaware K9 demonstration and the Wilmington Public Library will be distributing free books to kids under 10 years old while supplies last. Children can enjoy a free showing of “The Snowman” and the many lights brightening the Square. Plus, did we mention it’s FREE ADMISSION?!
The Holiday Light Display in Willingtown Square will be open to the public 7 days a week from dusk until 9 pm starting November 30th through February 2020.
The festivities are sponsored by The Delaware Historical Society, Downtown Visions, Wilmington Alliance, and IN Wilmington.
Street parking is free on weekends in Downtown Wilmington DE.
