Paddle for Promise Fundraiser

When: Saturday July 1st 7:30am – 2:00pm

Where: Wilmington Youth Rowing Association, 500 E Front St., Wilmington, DE 19801

Details: This summer, UrbanPromise is employing a record breaking 55 teens to work at their free summer camps throughout the city. StreetLeaders provide support to our staff and serve as role models to the children in their neighborhoods. The StreetLeader program is an opportunity for them to learn important job and leadership skills.

THIS SATURDAY, July 1st, a team of staff, supporters, volunteers and StreetLeaders will be paddling in the Paddle for Promise. They will travel 25 miles down the Delaware River to raise funds for StreetLeader salaries.

With the goal to raise $30,000! Please consider partnering with us and supporting their team as they paddle for teens! Go to http://www.urbanpromise.org/featured/save-the-date-paddle-for-promise.htm to meet the team and donate!

Also, join UrbanPromise at Wilmington’s Youth Rowing Association to cheer the team on and celebrate. They should arrive around 12:30-1:30
