Coming soon in Fall 2020 will be a new duckpin bowling alley and pinball arcade with a storing food and beverage program. The project was recently announced by Wilmington-based developer The Buccini/Pollin Group. The Group is hyping the new concept as the place for “boisterous games & dangerously good times” in Downtown Wilmington.
The concept, Wilma’s, will be located at 902 N Market Street which is the location that will have formerly occupied Ernest & Scott Taproom. Chelsea’s Tavern will now be hosting the Ernest & Scott Taproom favored events such as the Cinco de Mayo block party and seasonal Cigar Dinners.
BPG is committed toward the City of Wilmington and tapping into its potential with new developments every year. The company’s largest recent investments include Stitch House, 76ers Fieldhouse, The Queen, Penn Cinema, Constitution Yards Beer Garden and several more.
“Downtown residents and visitors alike have continually requested more things to do in Wilmington that are not solely focused on food and alcohol,” said Rich Snyder, Director of Food & Beverage for the Buccini/Pollin Group. “While we certainly support the thriving culinary scene in Wilmington, we believe Wilma’s will strike the perfect balance between recreation and dining, no pun intended.”
