After hosting both rapper Cardi B and rock act O.A.R. earlier this year, the 76ers Fieldhouse has announced one more concert by a national act for the venue’s inaugural run.
And this time, the act has a Delawarean front and center.
Upstart country act King Calaway will headline the 3,000-seat, $30 million arena, which opened in January and is home to the Philadelphia 76ers’ G League team Delaware Blue Coats.
The concert will be held Saturday, Nov. 30 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the all-ages show cost $15-$35 at facebook.com/76ersFieldhouse.
Wilmington’s Reece Ratliff, a 17-year-old Tower Hill School junior, and Cab Calloway School of the Arts’ Jazz Chords of Calloway will open the homegrown show.
“Since the band got together, I’ve been looking forward to bringing the guys to Wilmington to play a show,” Jervis told The News Journal/Delawareonline. “I’m so happy that it’s now finally happening. I’m excited to bring the guys to the place where I discovered my love and passion for music.”
