Where to Back to School Shop in Wilmington

It’s almost back to school season! One of the best things about this time of year is getting a brand new outfit or some fresh school supplies. Check out our list of local stores in Wilmington for everything you need.

Clothing

Morgan’s of Delaware – This spot is a women’s boutique with FREE personal fashion styling from fashion expert Martha. Stop by at 222 Delaware Avenue Suite 105 if you need some advice for your new look!

Spaceboy Clothing – This store offers custom printing on apparel ranging from t-shirts to hats! They also sell vintage items. Check them out online or at their store on 706 N Market St

Al’s current store

Wright & Simon – Founded in Wilmington in 1935, Wright & Simon has been providing well-fitted men’s clothing for over 88 years. Check out their shop at 911 N Market St. to get yourself feeling spiffy!

Al’s Sporting Goods – Whether you’re on a team at school, or you’re starting your fitness journey, go to Al’s for your sporty supplies. A family-owned business since 1935, Al’s has grown so much in size that they moved locations in 2008. Find them at 200 N Market St. 

2MUCH Boutique – This online boutique now has a recently opened storefront at 207 N Market St! Owner Lyniah Williams envisioned the 2MUCH brand as a way to empower girls and help them realize their value. How exciting that you can now support the 2MUCH mission in person!

Eclectica – This little gift shop is the perfect place to find some eclectic jewelry and accessories to really set your style apart. Check out their “little bit of everything” at 800 Brandywine Blvd or on their Facebook. 

Peter Kate – A boutique owned by women, for women! Peter Kate will help you elevate your personal style, offering everything from shoes to jackets to sunglasses. Stop by 2303 Concord Pike, Fairfax Shopping Center or shop online. 

Books & Supplies

Books & Bagels – This community-based bookstore is now open Wednesday-Sunday. Check out the books they have on-hand at 1139 W 7th St, or complete a book request form on their website to be sure they have what you want!

Trolley Square Market – Known as a “hidden gem” this little market has a slightly obscure location–but you can find it at 25B Trolley Square (on the second floor of Trolley Square Shopping Center). They have a range of goods, so go check it out!

Around Again & Again Books – This shop is the perfect place for booklovers. Around Again & Again takes donations of gently used books to keep them circulating and out of landfills. Support the environment and your mind by shopping here at 1400 Philadelphia Pike!

Finist and the Owl – Located in the Bellefonte area, Finist and the Owl is a classic small-scale artistic bookstore. You can buy your books online, or visit their store at 811 Brandywine Boulevard
