76ers Fieldhouse To Host Highschool Basketball Showcase

BPG Sports will be hosting a Play-by-Play basketball showcase at the 76ers Fieldhouse for local highschool talent. The event will be featuring some of the top players from Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The showcase will be a one-day showdown on January 18th and feature a number of top college prospects.

There will be two class of 2021 players ranked in the top 50 nationally for their respective class (Westtown’s Forward Franck Kepnang & Rutgers Prep guard Trey Patterson). Westtown senior Noah Collier ranks third in his class for Pennsylvania and has committed to play for University of Pittsburgh. Another top prospect being featured is Coatesville senior guard Jhamir Brickus, who is the seventh ranked senior in Pennsylvania. Jamir Watkins of Trenton Catholic Academy is the twelfth ranked player of the New Jersey 2020 class and has committed to play for Virginia Commonwealth University.

Day pass tickets can be purchased at the door for $10, and $5 for students.

Game 1: 10:00am Padua Academy vs Conrad High School (Girls Varsity)

Game 2: 11:45am Germantown Academy vs St. Elizabeth’s High School (Girls Varsity)

Game 3: 1:30pm Plymouth Whitemarsh High School vs Newark High School (Boys Varsity)

Game 4: 3:15pm Coatesville High School vs Appoquinimink High School (Boys Varsity)

Game 5: 5:00pm Rutgers Prep vs Salesianum School (Boys Varsity)

Game 6: 6:45pm Cardinal O’Hara High School vs Dover High School (Boys Varsity)

Game 7: 8:30pm Trenton Catholic Academy vs Westtown School (Boys Varsity)
