Fall is coming. A perfect time for day drinking, football watching, and fire pit gathering. Two new additions to the Wilmington bar scene are also open just in time for Sunday Football Fundays.

Makers Alley, downtown Wilmington’s new $3.3 million beer garden will open at the end of September and Torbert Social, a speakeasy-style vintage cocktail lounge has been slinging drinks since Labor Day Weekend.

Click here for more information on both openings and hours.

If you’re looking for new encounters of the culinary kind, there are over 15 new places opening up across the state this Fall, with eight new establishments setting up shop in Wilmington alone.

Click here for the full list and details on what’s on tap in the coming months.
