Exploring the Fall Foliage throughout Wilmington – Experience the bliss of fall around Wilmington; the beautiful colors and the crunch of the golden fallen leaves under your feet against a clear blue sky! Take a walk through one or all of Wilmington’s parks: Brandywine Park, Alapocas Run, or even Rockwood Park. 2. Wagon Rides Bellevue State Park – Nothing screams fall more than a wagon ride! Head over to Bellevue State Park any Friday, Saturday, or Sunday now until November 6th to enjoy a leisurely ride around the grounds at Bellevue. 5. Hagley Craft Fair – Explore the marketplace that will be at the Hagley property for all things wood, pottery, jewelry, fibers, metal, and other media on October 16th! 6. Boo at the Zoo – Halloween is coming to the Brandywine Zoo yet again for Boo at the Zoo on October 22nd, 23rd, and 24th! 7. Painting Fall Foliage Workshop at Delaware Art Museum – Bring the beautiful scenery of fall to life with your art skills! At this workshop on October 23rd you will concentrate on the color and texture of the fall landscape learning how to mix a fall palette and how to use sponging and spattering to recreate the textures of nature.
