Bright Spot Farms is a social initiative created by a generous gift from Barclays US and the West End Neighborhood House. The program is designed to give Delaware’s former foster care youth real-world, paid employment experience in a contextual learning environment.

Their GROW: Empowerment and Employment Training program provides skills in:
  • Certified classes in customer service & horticulture skills

  • Public speaking & networking opportunities

  • Landscape knowledge and design practice

  • Basic Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills

  • A one-month paid internship in an industry that could help further career aspirations!
