It’s Spooky Season! Your Guide to Halloween in Wilmington, Delaware!

Spooky Season is in full swing! Embrace all that Wilmington has to offer with our favorite dining, drinks, and events coming up!

For the Kids:

Halloween at Hagley-Oct 29th- Bring the kids to Hagley in costume on October 29th for some safe and fun trick-or-treating! Other activities include costume parades at 11:30 am and 1:30 pm, a Spider Slingshot, and “Bat”ing practice.

Trunk or Treat at Greenbank Mills-Oct 28th- Celebrate the holiday season with the kids! You can register to give out candy or sign your kiddo up to trick-or-treat at the link above! 

Brandywine YMCA Fall Festival-Oct 28th- Visit the YMCA for family fun including crafts, a bounce house, South Pool Pumpkin Patch, and more! You can also sign up to decorate your trunk for trick-or-treaters above.

Community Fall Festival and Halloween Spooktacular-Oct 29th- Saturday at 2:00 pm enjoy an afternoon of seasonal activities, food, and entertainment. The day also includes a costume contest for children and pets at 4:00 pm!

Halloween at Nemours Estate-Oct 29th- Enjoy family-friendly fun including live music from Bella Von, food trucks, trick or treating for prizes, activities, and more. Come in costume!

Halloween Fun at DCM-Oct 28th and 29th- Saturday and Sunday check out the fun events at Delaware Children’s Museum. All guests who wear costumes will receive $1 off admission!

Halloween in the Park-Oct 27th- Bring the kids to Rodney Park for Halloween-themed fun! Play musical chairs, bob for marshmallows, make candy apples, decorate cookies, and more!

Spooky Spirits and Sweets

For the Adults:

Spooky Spirits and Sweets-Oct 24th- Get your boo(ze) on with creepy cocktails and sweets at this event from Hotel Du Pont. Registration includes 3 seasonal cocktails and 3 dessert pairings.

Spirits at the Zoo-Oct 28th- Celebrate an adult Halloween with spooky cocktails, animal encounters, and bewitching entertainment at the Brandywine Zoo. Proceeds from the event benefit the Delaware Zoological Society.

Movies on Tap presents The Rocky Horror Picture Show-Oct 28th- Celebrate great local beer from Mispillion River Brewing Co. and movies while proudly supporting our community. Admission includes popcorn, beer samples (21 + over) & movie tickets for 2 screenings!

Dracula at Theatre N-Oct 28th- Friday at 7:00 check out this screening of a classic Hollywood horror film. Dracula defined the horror genre for so many years. See for yourself why the film still holds up!

Rocco Italian Grill Halloween Bash-Oct 26th- Head over to one of the most popular night spots in town to celebrate Halloween with a party on Wednesday! Trust us, you won’t want to miss this one.

Halloween Costume Party at Rockford Tavern-Oct 28th- This spooky event is for adults only. There will be music, food, and drink specials as well as cash prizes for costume contest winners! 

Ghosts and Ghouls 4th Annual Halloween Party and Tattoo Flash-Oct 29th- Saturday join The G Spot Tattoo parlor. This event includes food, drinks, music, and $100 flash tattoos. Also, there will be a $200 gift card winner of the costume contest!
