On April 6, Great Dames will be hosting one of their Powerful Conversation Events in Wilmington at Harry’s Savoy Grill & Ballroom, entitled “How CAn I Be More POwerful in My Life?”
“We believe in the power of conversations to create change, because real conversations foster learning and drive us to action, especially when inspired by amazing women.” Proceeds from these events go to causes that empower women and girls, designated by the speakers.
“How Can I Be More Powerful in My Life?” will feature interactive dialogue with Dr. Wendy Smith, University of Delaware Professor, and a special presentation from U. S. Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester, followed by small-group discussions facilitated by prominent women in the community.
