Brandywine Park – The Brandywine Park is the perfect place for a stroll or picnic on a spring day! The park runs along both sides of the river; people visiting can take a walk along the river or visit the formal gardens and park monuments.
Tubman Garrett Riverfront Park – The Tubman Garrett Park is located on the Riverfront and is a great place to appreciate Wilmington history. The park memorializes Harriet Tubman, Thomas Garrett, and the surrounding area that played an important role in the liberation of slaves through the Underground Railroad.
Rockford Park – Rockford is one of the oldest parks in Wilmington! The park features the Rockford Tower, baseball fields, tennis courts, a dog park and wooded paths for running and walking!
Bellevue State Park – There are many things to do at Bellevue! Tour the mansion and explore the native plants in the surrounding arboretum, explore the pond, hike the woods or have a picnic!

Cool Spring Park – Cool Spring is historic, and occupies 30 acres of Wilmington with open lawns and many trees. There are plenty of benches and seating along the promenade to choose from when visiting!

Delaware Center for Horticulture – The DCH gardens feature plants that provide year-round interest and are locally available in garden centers and nurseries. The garden is open to the public during daylight hours, and most areas are handicap accessible!
Riverwalk – If you want something scenic, the Riverwalk along the Riverfront is a great choice! You can shop, eat, or exercise with the view of the river directly next to you. During a stroll you can check out the local artwork they have displayed throughout the Riverwalk.
