To help ensure Delawarean’s safety, Governor Carney has postponed the 2020 Presidential Primary to July 7th, and is allowing voters to submit absentee ballots so they can stay in their homes. Since the primary is less than a month away, please take some time to familiarize yourself following information and deadlines to be prepared for the primary day!
Saturday, June 13 is the deadline for registering to vote. The primaries are closed, so you must be registered as either a democrat or republican to participate.
Friday, July 3 is the final day you can request an absentee ballot.
Monday, July 6 at noon is the deadline for picking up an absentee ballot from
Tuesday, July 7 is the deadline for submitting your absentee ballot, as well as being primary day, where you can visit your designated polling place from 7am-8pm.
