In a new article released by WalletHub, Delaware has been named the Best State for Working From Home. The article states that the study was created in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, and is ranking states across two dimensions, “work environment” and “living environment.”

The dimensions are ranked using 12 data metrics, which when calculated assigns an overall rating. In this study, the data included metrics such as household size, how many people in the state were already working from home prior to the pandemic, internet cost and cybersecurity.

Delaware’s high rankings in both work and living environment helped it snag the top spot. We venture to guess these high rankings are attributed to the housing developments made on the Riverfront and the moderate cost of living throughout the state!
