The grand prize winner will receive a $11,500 cash prize, a 6-month membership in the EEC Virtual Incubator Program, a 1-year membership in the New Castle county chamber, a marketing package and free services from the event’s sponsors.

Previous winners of the contest have included Amira Idris, founder of the Wilmington startup Vibrating Therapeutic Apparel; Mac Nagaswami of Penguin Ads, now Carvertise, a Wilmington company that pays drivers to place advertisements on their vehicles, and Sakthi Vel of NumbersBee.com, a Hockessin-based company that created an online math game.

Videos should be no more than three minutes long and tell a compelling story about the company and how the prize package will be used to take their business to the next level.

Submitted videos are due before 3:59 p.m. on Aug 28. All submissions will be posted on the New Castle’s Chamber of Commerce’s website.
