Get coffee, do good. The newest Dunkin’ location is opening this week and is giving back to the local community to celebrate.
Wilmington Mayor Mike Purzycki will join the owners, Bhupen and Falguni Patel, along with City Council Member Michelle Harlee from the 4th District, Downtown Visions Executive Director Martin Hageman, and other guests for an 11:00 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, March 22, 2019. The new Dunkin’ is located in a refurbished historic building at 701 North Market in the Downtown Business District.
“We are pleased to welcome the Patel family to our growing Downtown District family,” said the Mayor, “and I am confident that Dunkin’ will be a fine addition to the many new eating and drinking establishments up and down Market Street. Downtown Wilmington continues to grow and thrive, emblematic of the many good things happening all around our City each and every day.”
Dunkin’ will be offering customers 99-cent medium coffees from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with proceeds benefiting The Wilmington Library, and customers who bring canned goods to donate to the Food Bank of Delaware will receive their medium cup of Joe for FREE.
The grand opening celebration will also include a live DJ, face painting, raffles, and prizes.
