Did you know there are 397.73 patents created per million people in Delaware? Businesses are being created at a rate of 3.29% within the First State according to USNews, which recently announced the top 10 Best States for Business.
Delaware ranked 6th on the list. Andrew Soergel, the senior reporter for USNews cited the state’s reputation for being a favorable place to start limited liability companies as one of a few reasons the state made the list. Other reasons include the State ranking 4th for low tax burden and 10th for entrepreneurship.
The state is also home to 60% of Fortune 500 companies.
Other states listed include: Utah, Colorado, Massachusetts, and California.
