AstraZeneca Moving Jobs to Wilmington

134 Jobs are moving to Wilmington. The transferred workers’ jobs include:

  • Marketing
  • Medical Affairs
  • Sales

And other positions that support the company’s diabetes business. AstraZeneca, which has about 2,000 workers at its Fairfax campus has been transforming itself both globally and in Delaware. The company has shifted its focus to from highly-competitive pharmaceutical markets such as antibiotics to medicines that target diseases with little or no treatment options.
