Big Fish Grill on the Riverfront

Sunday, April 1, 11 a.m.–7 p.m.

Big Fish Grill’s annual Easter buffet features a sundry of seafood dishes and fresh carving stations. Adults cost $36.95, children under 12 cost $15.95 and children under 3 cost $5.95. Reservations are recommended (652-3474). The Easter buffet is only offered at Big Fish’s riverfront location.

Harry’s Savoy Grill

Sunday, April 1

Complete with an appetizer buffet, carving stations and a designated dessert buffet, Harry’s Savoy brunch or dinner is sure to please. Harry’s traditional dinner menu will be available from noon-7:30 p.m. in the restaurant. A la carte dining will be available in the restaurant from noon-8 p.m.  The brunch and dinner buffets will be available from 10 a.m.–2:15 p.m. and 3-6 p.m., respectively, in the ballroom. The buffet costs $49.95 for adults and $17.95 for children ages 5-12 (children under the age of 5 are free). Reservations are encouraged and can be placed by calling 475-3000. Weather permitting, the patio will be open.

Easter Bunny Express 

Friday, March 30th and Saturday, March 31st, Departing at 12:30 & 2:30 PM

The Easter Bunny hops aboard the train for a 1½-hour round-trip ride to Ashland, and all kids will get a special treat. Bring your camera and have the Easter Bunny pose for a picture with your child. This is a great way to welcome Spring and bring the family out for an afternoon on the rails. $19 for adults and $17 for children 2-12, children under 2 ride FREE.

Wilmington Barbers’ 10th Annual Easter Shoe Drive

Saturday, March 31, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Started in 2009 by salon owner Terrone Warren, this effort to make a difference in the community has given away more than three thousand pairs of shoes and sneakers to local residents. Mayor Mike Purzycki urges, “I would encourage individuals and businesses to double check their closets this week and donate new or slightly used shoes and sneakers to this worthwhile cause.” Donations will be accepted at BVD Barber Salon, 223 W. 8th Street (next to Libby’s Restaurant).

Easter Festival

Saturday, March 31st from 11 am – 2 pm 

East Side Charter School hosts this Easter festival, complete with food, popcorn, cotton candy, moon bounces, slides, face painting, egg hunt, a petting zoo and more! Bring your family and friends out for this amazing easter eggstravaganza!
