Take advantage of the cold weather this winter season by spending time at a beautiful family-friendly ice rink. Wilmington’s Riverfront Rink is open for its sixth season, and will be running through March 1st.

Unlike last year at the riverfront when Del Pez Mexican Gastropub was in charge of concessions at the rink, this winter’s food and drink service will be handled by Constitution Yards Beer Garden. It will remain open Friday through Sunday, serving food and drink similar to its summertime offerings.

The rink is at the same location as the beer garden at Justison Landing, 308 Justison St., Wilmington.

Skating costs $8.50 for adults and $5.50 for kids 12 and under. Skate rentals ($4), skate sharpening ($5) and locker rentals ($2) cost extra. Assistance from skate helpers and walkers is based on availability.

This year’s regular rink hours have also been announced: Monday through Thursday (4-9 p.m.), Friday (4-10 p.m.), Saturday (11 a.m.-10 p.m.) and Sunday (11 a.m.-9 p.m.).
