‘Irene’ the dramatic Burlesque Revue, is a story of love and loss, and not every ending is ‘Happily ever After.’ Follow Irene, a beautiful young dancer, as she discovers her classmates are not at all what they seem. Through her discovery, she realizes they are all vampires and has to decide which path she should take.
Experience five incredible burlesque dancers from Philly and DE perform with two live musicians accompanying them on stage with a full pre-recorded orchestra.
This show is an adaptation of the original contemporary ballet ‘Irene’ by local Wilmington composer/performer Shaun Dougherty, which debuted at the Grand Opera House in 2014. Dougherty is partnering with industrial ballerina Devin MasoKiss, who is overseeing all of the choreography and also stars in the production, to bring this show to life!
