This Friday, October 4 hosts yet another Art Loop in the City of Wilmington. The popular FREE art exhibition, now in its 31st year, is a partnership between the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs and Out & About. More than 35 galleries in and around Wilmington will participate in this month’s Art Loop.
- The Redding Gallery continues to feature paintings by Seonglan Kim Boyce, while the Mezzanine Gallery will exhibit Individual Artist Fellow Leah Beach.
- 2nd & LOMA, at 211 North Market Street, presents “Exploration” by Craig Hable, with paintings that are an exploration of color, size and shape.
- The Christina Cultural Arts Center, at 705-707 North Market Street, will present the work of K.O. Simms, an artist with considerable experience in watercolors, acrylics, pen-and-inks, and pastels developed over two decades of on-the-scene drawing and painting throughout the Atlantic Coastal Region.
- The Delaware Children’s Museum will also offer a FREE community Art Loop event. The celebration will feature light refreshments and live music from local children’s band We Kids Rock. City and DMC officials will also celebrate the official unveiling of two new art installations.
