Support local music while enjoying Wilmington parks! Thanks to the Friends of Wilmington Parks along with Delaware State Parks, residents can enjoy the “LIVE! IN THE PARKS: 2019 SUMMER CONCERT SERIES!” This summer event kicks off June 24  and ends on August 21. Shows will alternate between Rockford and Brandywine Parks. B6JRNP

 

Events are pet and picnic-friendly! Make it a night out with the family by bringing dinner and lawn chairs and enjoy free local music. Concerts will be held in Rockford Park on Monday evenings and in Brandywine Park at the Sugar Bowl on Wednesday evenings. Concessions and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at each Sugar Bowl concert and select Rockford Park concerts, often featuring local brews from Wilmington Brew Works & Bellefonte Brewing Company.

Delaware State Parks

The Division of Parks and Recreation, part of the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC), operates and maintains 16 state parks and related preserves and greenways throughout Delaware.
