The Philadelphia 76ers all-new, state-of-art field house on the Wilmington Riverfront will begin construction! Next season their NBA G-League affiliate is planned to move into the all-new, state-of-art field house, changing their name and branding to …the Delaware Blue Coats. Why the name change? Well, for Delaware sports fans, there’s a bit of a loss for professional teams. However, there is no loss of Delawarean’s love of sports. So we welcome the Blue Coats with open arms!  The fieldhouse will also serve as Nemours Physical Therapy Clinic, Titus Sports Academy, and Future Soccer Stars Foundation.

The ceremony is scheduled and the details are summarized here from the full article on NBA.com. To be part of the action see contact below and don’t forget to use #WilmToday!
